From Dale Robertson's Chron blog: http://blogs.chron.com/sportsupdate/ Not only no but . . . A guy on bended knee just proposed to a girl during the quarter break. In front of all these people, she said no. But it appears to have been a setup, intended to be a gag. But nobody laughed. They should stick to little kids kicking Clutch in the groin. Now, that's funny.
I was at the game - not only was it staged, but I am pretty sure the 'girl' was a dude in a dress and a wig.
I thought she was hot. They always show shots of a few hotties (and a few not-so hotties) during the games. Someone should make a thread and post pics of all the deserving hotties shown during the game. The thread would be a chronicle of each game. Each post simply being titled with the date and opponent, along with the chicks pics under the spoiler tag. Someone do it.
I was at the game, and she was a terrible actress. As soon as she took off her blindfold I could tell she was acting.
So people would have a story to tell, and advertisement. Now people will go to work the next day talking about what happened at the Rockets game last night.
I once had a female friend tell me that her ideal way to be proposed to would be at an Astros game. *shrug*
I'd totally love to be proposed to at a Rockets game. That would be the best day of my life - thus far.
There was a post-propasal interview. The lady said that she rejected him because he paying more attention to the RPD than the game.
