    Did anyone watch it?
The guy is a trip. No doubt he'll be partying it up in Dr.Buss' suite when the Nets go to LA next year.

I saw the entire thing. This guy is going to be interesting and probably very controversial as an NBA owner. The NBA probably didn't look very hard when doing the background check.

Yeah, there really is no reason for guys like that to get married... if you stay single, you can sleep with as many women as you want and no one will care.

i'm sure they looked hard, but in this economy every zero on the check is probably one more thing they let slide.

The question is can he dunk? Being 6-8 he probably only has to jump 20in to dunk the ball.

He'd be the only team owner that can dunk. Bragging rights there.

New Jersey is going to be better than NY. Lebron will go to New Jersey and NY will be left with David Lee and Rudy Gay. LOL

NJ has it easy really, they are playing way worse than their talent, two of the most important positions they are set on with a solid pg in Harris who could play off of anyone and same with Lopez who is a big man who can shoot and has solid defense....then you have decent role players in terrence wililams and yi who can be used off of the bench, and courtney lee who is a 6th man or starter maybe even....

they are young, they have money, are moving to brooklyn, they just need the right coach and are a spending spree away from competing

Good points. Plus they'll get a top 4 pick in the draft. They'll have some nice young talent. Now if they can just get some veteran & coaching help.

Exactly. Remaking the nets is way easier than most people think. They have nothing but young players on that roster, and most of the dead wood are expiring contracts. In fact, making the nets into a decent team is way easier than say, remodeling the Pacers, the Warriors, Bobcats or Detroit.

To be quite honest if I had money to buy a franchise the nets would be my 2nd choice (after Thunder). Solid C and PG, top 4 pick in a draft deep in PFs? C'mon, only an idiot can't see that the Nets will be one of the most promising franchises within the next 2 years.

They have the money and solid peices, but no star, you put a star with lopez harris and lee surrounding them and this team can compete in the east. So if its not lebron this year, or Melo the next year, They will get someone with this money and the fact that they will be the New York Nets in 2 years and should have their pick in coaches.

Any star or coach that goes there next year is a marketing genius in my opinion, they played way worse this year thant their talent, with the money for a new star and the peices they already have and a high lottery pick, they should easily flip their team this year and they are going to go from one of the historys worst records to competing for the playoffs in the east or atleast being respectable and who ever is new is going to get the credit for the turn around and look like the savior in NY

I agree, the Nets will have a sick backcourt next year with Harris/Wall or Turner, and Brook Lopez is pretty good, they have enough money to get a decent PF, then maybe they can trade Yi for a small forward or move Yi to the 3.
