It isn't a lie. Trump has advocated many of the exact same ideas in the project. They are Trump supporters. He didn't try and run from it until he found out people didn't like it.

I vividly recall Democrats choking on their own tears demanding Trump to renounce racism.

He is renouncing project 25 just as you have demanded. But that isn't enough apparently. You want to continue to lie. Democrats have lied about everything. Bidens dementia, covid vaccines, origins of covid, hunters laptop, the list just goes on and on. American people are getting tired of being lied to. They know Trump is an *******. You dont have to lie any further about that. Work on your own party. Its in a civil war.

Trump will likely be all over this like he is with abortion and other issues. He'll tell some people he doesn't agree with it and has nothing to do with it and then he'll tell CPAC or another audience it was his idea. What we do know is that the people formulating this many are Trump advisors.

Yet interestingly enough even though you think Trump is an ****** you keep repeating his rhetoric.

Further yes Trump has denounced racist, he's also dined with them even after he said he denounced them. Again Trump is inconsistent and lies like a rug.

No. He isn't renouncing it. That is false.

Trump says he knew nothing about it, yet he says he disagrees with parts of it. How does he nothing about, but also knows he disagrees with parts of it?

Of course parts of it are exactly what Trump has said he likes and campaigned on doing. This includes him taking total control of agencies, appointing special counsel to go after his political rivals. And he's promised to appoint loyalists throughout the administration which is part of 2025.

Trump isn't disavowing any of those things. Nor is he disavowing Mark Meadows and Stephen Miller who were part of Trump's team and also part of 2025.

It isn't a lie to point that out and continue to push it out to the public.

Lying and fear mongering is their thing, this is what they do. "Nationwide abortion ban" " Trump will stay in power FOREVER" "Project25" "Trump will kill his political opponents with the Army"

At this point I think most have woken up to their bs so hearing them spew their lies doesn't affect anything anymore... People know these are just things Democrats say...

    Carry on as you will.

Just dont forget that its not just the presidency Democrats are surrendering at this point, they are sure to lose the Senate too. And if Republicans can control all three, there will be significant change.

Even if Trump isn't specifically agreeing with Project 2025 we do know he has said he will "root out" those who he considers traitors. We also know that in the last couple of years of his term he did replace a lot of staff including cabinet level positions with who he thought was loyalists. He used acting appointments to bypass Senate approval.

They stupidly believe that since it works for Trump, it will work for them too. They are now finding out what its like to have their party hijacked by a bunch of people just like Trump.

Thing is, alot of Trumps predictions have come true. Biden did end up destroying the border and causing high levels of inflation while pouring out money in aid for conflicts outside of The U.S..... One thing is to blatantly lie to tarnish one's image and the other is to look at the Dems proposals and make realistic predictions on why its not good for this country.....

Inflation is down and border crossings have dropped significantly. But please continue with talking about fear mongering.

I have a similar take that Dems want to portray themselves as the Adult in this loveless marriage, but they're so desperate to retain their popularity that they low-key rely on the same populist tactics that keep Republicans in the race.

Dems want their voters to aspire to Be Better when in truth Party Leadership would rather fail than to lose control by nominating an outsider that isn't deeply entrenched in their machine (Sanders for the past decade).

Then you have things like Pelosi bristling at tougher insider trading regs for Congress or the coddling and silent acceptance of Menendez post-acquittal (passing laws to counter SCROTUS is TOO HARD!!!). All are cancerous and give no recourse to the downward slope of endemic and unfettered corruption. Cue in Trump corruption whataboutism...

My vote doesn't matter in California, but if I were working for 25/hr in Columbus OH, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting on here and I wouldn't swallow half the gaslight the admin has been peddling.

Sure Democrats aren’t perfect and there is plenty to criticize them but the amount of prevarication and chaos out of them pales in comparison to what the current Republican Party is

The impression I get out of many here and in other political forums is that some are more upset and think it’s more over the top that Democrats are warning that Trump doesn’t respect democracy or the Consitution (something that many who were in his administration have said) than that Trump and many republicans are saying that migrants are coming to rape and murder you.

While I agree with you, it doesn't rationalize Party tactics of lying, browbeating/silencing, and shaming. I also get the need to remind people of Trump's failings in an attempt to fight normalization of his behavior.

It has to be called out that Dems and its media friendly partisans are facing a Credibility Gap because they used those tactics across different issues for the past 4 years. Americans generally don't like to be talked down to.

Trump really did a number on us that made the call for war crystal clear. I carried water for that during covid, but war profiteering is apolitical.
