Op- What do the Rockets REALLY think about Grif and TMo? If they really believe in Grif then doesn't that mean Mo Taylor is a short term solution(2 to 3 years) Don't they see Grif as a power forward? I hope we did not draft him to be Mo's backup longterm.

bigboymumu, i think i can answer that one for ya. at this point, the rockets have absolutely NO IDEA what griff will end up playing. he very well may end up playing center - given 30 pounds of muscle. you have to keep in mind that the kid is 19 years old and still has some growing to do. even if he is a true power forward a few years from now...so what? who says you can't run 2 power forwards? the days of the true "center" are gone anyway. antonio davis, alonzo mourning, etc. are all true power forwards that can play center. same goes for alligator arms marc jackson. griff won't be motay's backup should the situation arise. either he runs alongside motay, or motay is moven for another position player, picks, etc. this is all SERIOUS speculation, though, as other roster moves will dictate and influence these steps. but as of now, rest assured...if griff can play, rudy will find a way to put him on the court. even if he has to run point guard...
