1972 ‘La mala ordina’ Directed by Fernando Di Leo

1972, the year of the Italian gangster movies making its landmark in major motion pictures. If you're looking for some gritty/kick ass classic gangster movies, look no further than Fernando Di Leo's filmography. Again these movies were made in the 70s so some of you might find these films a little outdated and lack of production values. They don't make them like these anymore with these kind of movie stars that bring their A game to the silver screen. The Italian Connection is a damn good Gangster film, one where Tarantino borrowed some to put in his own movies.

‘La mala ordina’ aka Manhunt is a fabulous flick indeed. no apologies and explanations needed (-: grittiness, action and Henry Silva are never outdated

I agree, I remember a thread on here awhile back and I don't think one person mentioned any Di Leo flick, everything is the Godfather this and Scrocese that. If you guys think gangster films stopped at the Godfather then you seriously haven't seen a lot of films of this genre and probably no nothing of the gangster genre in general.
