Link: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7330995.html Say what you want about his purported fall in production, but Shane is undoubtedly the leader of this team and demonstrates every night professionalism at its very best. We are blessed to have this kind of veteran leadership and will need it to turn things around. (Also, Kevin Martin has been playing sick the last two games, so major props to him as well).
that game against the bulls we should've won and martin kept us in the game in the 3qrt. if we had landry he would have fight for the win. the rockets play with no passion and heart in the 4qrt. it's either only one person or none at all but we're getting there, they need to use each other to raise their confidence
He's not taking stupid shots or trying to drive it in by himself anymore. Tangibly boneheaded moves on the offensive end.
An eventual replacement will be needed. I've never shied away from expressing my view. If anyone disagrees with me, I can respect their point of view while maintaining mine.
Must be because leebigez and Kwame have not found this thread yet . Also - even though JVG and Adelman are two very different coaches, both stress the importance of having Shane. I really hope he will be back next season somehow.
Why would we do it in this thread? It has nothing to do with him playing basketball. Just because he is a great human doesn't take away his performane on the court.
I'm damn sure not taking on battier in public with Marsarinian's signature heading the thread. actually, i likes my battier. If only I were 6'8....lalalala....he gives all us 6'0 HS forwards running motion (without the ball)/playing defense...hope.
It has everything to do with him playing basketball. He gives 100% every game, don't you think that inspires the team to do better? He has been playing well lately and stepped up when the team needed him the most. But i guess i'm just talking mess because when shane was in a slump everyone wanted him gone. Now hes done i don't see those threads anymore.
Shane having to play 38 minutes despite having a flu is Exhibit #1 on why we need a good s/f to help him out. Bud is failing in that department.
I watched the Rockets lose all those games at the start of the season while I was also ill. I am a consummate professional.
