I'm still trying to wrap my head around the implications of human behavior in an environment with interaction but no real accountability.

People do get crazy over these games though, to the point where their normal conversations include their game experience as if it was their most important daily activity. I have a neighbor who, if you ask how his day is going, will usually tell you what is happening in his online game.
