As a Rocket fan who lives outside the USA, I was just wondering that if ever I asked some of you guys for an export opportunity, what do you think are products made in Houston that can be feasibly exported to another country? Our family's little company is currently sourcing for suppliers abroad, so I thought some input from the city of my favorite NBA team is worth a try. :grin: Btw, we are based in Industrial Refrigeration but are open to other trade ventures.

With the Port of Houston you can feasibly export just about anything. The question is whether you can do something that other countries want and can do it at a better efficiency (price) or quality than others.
manufacturing is big in Houston. Dallas is more of a distribution center. the manufacturing done here is primarily for drilling equipment/energy related. As was previously stated, given the port and the expansion thereof, pending expansion of the panama canal, we can feasibly export anything we produce
