Bosh is the PERFECT fit for this team.

His last two years are poor. Low rebounds and only 16 pts per game. But he's also been playing out of position half the time.

He's my least favorite of all the FA allstars but he's certainly worth signing. And other than Love and Aldridge, I can't think of a better PF next to Howard. His game is a nice fit for us.

    not surprising.

Bosh doesn't have this legacy to uphold that Lebron has.

He's already won his rings, I'm sure he'd be happy to get paid and join the a contender, Bosh would be an amazing fit for the Rockets.

Bosh and Howard defensively would be a problem. I agree bosh> melo and love

The people who don't want bosh are the same idiots that didn't want howard. Bosh is still a very good player and he just happens to play PF (our weakest position).

This is a no brainer if you are Daryl Morey.

Cannot have Asik and Pelies pick . . .I think the pelies pick is a condition of them getting Asik

He would be fantastic for us in the David West type role, but not as a max player. If we bring him in our MLE signing would have to be a home run.

I don't think you understand. We still get the Pelies pick. And if we clear Lin out by simply adding a future pick. Then essentially we've swapped Asik/Lin/future pick for Bosh and the Pelies pick.

I agree with those saying Bosh > Melo or Love. Also, keep in mind that any deal where we get Love more likely than not means we'd be shipping Parsons out. So it isn't even Melo vs. Love or Bosh vs. Love; it's more like Bosh vs. Love (minus Parsons). Less thrilled to get a big that plays no defense...and shoots 3's at a decent clip.

Not to mention, getting Love would probably cost us Parsons. Bosh + Parsons>>Love

Exactly that's why it's so important we sign a big player because that essentially gets us two players since we'll be re-signing parsons

LeBron and Melo could get the max in Miami, Wade get $13 million, Bosh gets $18 million from Houston. Happy times for all.

As much as I like to make fun of Bosh, this lineup looks amazing on paper! It fills a real need at the 4 and we get to keep our assets and use the MLE like you stated. Bosh might not be the most popular pick and some fans will be disappointed but this might be the best addition the team could make.

bosh is asked to spot up and shoot 3's in miami. i think he's most dangerous off the dribble against centers with being a "stretch 4" as his second best use on offense.

with dwight, he would again be primarily a stretch 4, however when dwight is on the bench bosh could slide to center and really attack the basket. he'd be a legit 3rd option (better than parsons at creating for himself), and that's something miami never really had him do.

now defensively at PF, he brings quickness and size. that means he can really defend the PnR and the basket. he's not much of a post defender, but we already have the best post defender in the league.

the spurs, thunder, and clippers were only 1 step ahead of us and bosh evens it up. with bosh we have a real chance to get out of the west next year. for that reason he's worth the max. forget haggling over price. you don't want him going to dallas or phoenix. either might pass us in the standings if he goes there. for us, this summer, he's worth the max.

arguably, because of the defense at the 4 and the ability to play with dwight on offense he's a better fit than love (and would cost less since we could probably keep parsons), or melo.

pay him what he wants, have a chance to win the west and beat whoever faces us in the finals from the leastern conference.

Im all for Melo or Bosh. Melo is a great scorer but Bosh is the better fit as this team is contructed.
