I might just fight the Divas BeBop.

Have liked wrestling since I was 3, and while I realise it's not as "cool" as it may have once been, I am finally taking the step of getting in the ring and starting the process of learning the most amazing performance art there is...hate all you want...

What will your ring name be? Will you wear a mask? Will you have a skank?

Still weighing up some options....mask isn't one of them at this stage, just because if i'm any good I will want to get my face out there.

I do know I want to be a heel charachter - much easier and much more fun to be the antagonistic bad guy.

Unless I am assigned a skank then I will be going solo...however if it will get me heat, and they want me to do it, well i'll happily be a company man. :)

I'll take any suggestions on board that CF wants to make.

However, I really should just focus more on learning to take a bump, and apply a few holds, and cop kicks and punches before I get too carried away...this isn't going to be ballet I am fully aware.

    -Call yourself "The Wizard"
-Wear a suit everywhere, even while you wrestle. (be well groomed)
-Learn how to speak well...you'll need amazing interview skills.
-Train yourself to be very persuasive. (Ex. Even when you lose, you somehow convince the ref that you won)
-Finish Move: The Final Deal (You punch them hard in the face, as they fall to their knees...dazed and confused...you finish them off with a Roundhouse Kick to the face.
-Catch Phrase: "And that's the Final Deal! Because I...Get It..DONE!" *Drop Mic*

Great stuff Julio - you have thought this through before I'd say!

pluto - just training up in the gym, gaining weight (have gone from 80kg to 92kg in about 3 months) and keeping up the core strength and cardio.

Dont quite know about a submission hold, but my finisher will be a leaping reverse DDT - haven't quite seen anything like it anywhere....There are similar ones out there, but the one in my mind is a little different.

You know you've just signed a pact with the devil to a life of alcoholism, drug use, and early death, don't you?!

    Good luck.

    That is awesome aussie rocket.

Who is going to train you?

It seems like every Tom, Dick and Harry has a wrestling school these days. Very few train their guys well.

    Best of luck to you.

Let me give you a tip. Athleticism, flashy moves, etc. are all awesome, but there are hundreds of young guys in great shape who can jump around the ring and do that stuff. If you want to be something, learn psychology. Learn how to tell a story in the ring and learn how to be believable. Learn how to make facial expressions that are realistic, learn how to take a punch, learn how to sell the pain from a move, learn how to act injured, learn ring spacing, etc.

You learn that stuff, you'll be ahead of most guys doing what you are trying to do.

    Good luck.

I hope you have lots of charisma. In ring skills and build are great and all but I think good Mic skills top all else.

I'll only give a **** about you and buy your shirt if you fall off a 15 foot ladder onto flaming tables.

    Sad, but very poignant.
