Oh yeah...for some reasons I was thinking Atlanta while we were talking about Denver. Weird.

Hmm...I can't really think straight today. That's what a six-pack could do to you.

That's the big hope here in Denver right now.

How is Dre a non-traditional PG? I mean, I know he's struggling by only being third in the NBA in assists (8.5 pg). He can't shoot from long range, yet he still is scoring 14.1 ppg, and that's as the team's 3rd option. I never will understand the Andre Miller bashing, whether it be here, the Nugs boards or from Barkley.

Does it really make a difference if Artest plays at the 2 instead of the 3? I've seen him guard two's before. He usually guards the opponents best swingman. On offense, the way ours runs, and the way that Melo plays, it won't be a problem if he's not a traditional "two".

As for the injured big men, Camby will be back. K-Mart, well, I'd rather not comment on him.

Well, maybe "non-traditional" was the wrong word to use. I wasn't, by no means, trying to bash Miller. I think he is a good PG. I just don't think he fits that team very well.

And, like I said, what do I know. Just seems like a very odd fit of talent, IMO. The team would certainly win a bunch of games, especially at home, but I still couldn't see them being that successfull in the playoffs. Good defensive teams would just not allow them to get any inside shots what so ever. With the lack of consistent outside shooting and bench, it's just hard for me to imagine them being a force in the playoffs.
