I think his salary is reasonable as the third big since he can play PF & C.

February 2011 Trade Deadline Target: Chris Bosh

Lets say that Daryl Morey is right that Miami with the 3 stars and little else heads towards a 47 win season. Lets further say that having two ball-dominant wings diminishes Chris Bosh's shots and stats. What happens by the next trade deadline besides Spoelstra spending more time with his "family"?

Does Miami start to re-think paying Bosh the max and wanting to find dirty-work pieces to complement their James/Wade core? I wonder if there is an opportunity to get a second shot at Bosh.

I just listed guys who are expiring or who could opt out because oftentimes they become trade targets since their former teams want something in return. We don't have to entice Gasol or West just trade for them at the deadline. Yeah it'll take talent, we have assets in spades but need a superstar.

IMO CP3 and Okafor is the way to go. You get your go to guy and backup for Yao, NO may be willing if they're out of contention, CP3 demands it, or they really need/want to move salary and it was rumored they wanted to dump Okafor who is signed at 10-15 million for the next 5 years I believe.

Give them AB, Jeffries, Battier, Hill, and a draft pick or 2. If the Knicks really stink it up this year that pick will look like gold.

    CP3/Lowry
    Martin/Taylor
    Ariza/Budinger
    Scola/Patterson
    Yao/Okafor

I'm thinking Amare is more likely to be had in the scenario you describe. We hand NY expirings plus their first rounder back and take Amare.

I'm tired of him. I'm going to war with my current squad.

Nah, they are not giving up Chris Bosh after half a season unless there are serious ego issues going on, ala Pippen with the Rockets.

    Really, man?

It is WAY TOO EARLY for this stuff.

None of the 3 will be traded during the first two seasons together.

If we can trade Jeffries, Andersen, and Alexander Johnson for a greater expiring(s) contract value, then we should be able to send New Orleans enough expiring contracts along with Hill and Brooks to get back Paul, Okafor, and Posey. Nobody else in the league is going to have enough expiring contracts and talent and be willing to take on the salary to do that. Dallas and Denver can come up with the expirings but they do not have picks and young talent to give New Orleans.

We are in prime position to nab Paul and Okafor or Rubio and Jefferson for a little less.

Would you guys deal hill, jeffries, and anderson for jamison???

He'd be a nice 6th man and scoring punch off the bench.

The guy looking to buy the Hornets doesn't want Paul traded. Trade rumors concerning Paul could be Shinn speeding up the sale of the team.

Ask LBJ and D-Wade. They'll determine that. Meanwhile, Miami is a clusterflunk in the making IMHO. If not by February then certainly May.

No. Once Cleveland goes in the tank, they should be willing to let Jamison go for just expiring contracts.

Les has been singing this tune for years and it hasn't happened yet. When they actually prey on someone, let me know.

Cavs would be a good target right about now when their emotions are still haywire from recent turn of events.

    Verajao for Hill+Jeffries.

Solves our backup C/PF issue instantly.
