    You can, and the previous poster's concerns regarding renewal are also not true - you can continue to renew your other passport.

    Sorry I did not care enough to go look at the thread.

    The point was that he decided to tell me how much better the culture was there and I told him it might be due to how rich they were considering GPD per capita. This is the reason it can work despite high taxes.

    If you saw the GDP per capita drop in half and unemployment double you would see a different attitude.

    Good point - I don't know how austria feels about it, but the US is ok with dual citizenship. Just make sure to use your US passport when entering the US...

    Not for countries like China. Some don't care thus you can have dual UK US citizenship.

    I doubt they will allow it for many countries beyond canada.

    well it also depends on which you were a citizen of first and if the other country makes you renounce.

    It is also much harder than just a Perm Res card.
