    well...im still giong to get the full league pass

    why? cuz i cant live without seeing my rockets...and im excited to watch other teams as well......

    I'm tempted to buy an Apple TV but don't really want to shell out another $100. All the other leagues have PS3 apps ... I thought the NBA considered themselves tech savvy. They should want to be on as many platforms as possible.

    Hope they do a better job of hiding the score in the DVR page of the APP too. That crap didn't work ... sucked getting off work late at night and coming home to watch a game and have to try to start the game without it showing the score. The function they had to hide scores only worked during the playtime of the games themselves. Once it went to archive there's no way to hide the scores.

    I am brand new, didn't know where to start out, so I figured this would be a good thread.

    I just activated my LP on DirecTV this morning. 169.00 total, did the 42.25 in 4 payments option.

    I found it funny that NBA.com has there broadband for 20 bucks more than all tv providers, which also has a subscription to broadband, and now mobile phone this year.

    Tried to order it here in Austin today, not able to....said they see it by can not order it.

    One thing though it will be free From Dec 25th - January 8th.

    Hmm... gonna have to think about this. Straight up fleecing by corporate buffoons with that pricing. Hell, I'm thinking about having a lockout on the NBA this season.

    Yes, I believe so. At least on directv.com, they mentioned ability to watch on computer, tablet, etc...

    I imagine if you go to itunes, and search NBA League Pass under apps it might be there.

    Not sure if it will be updated yet.

    this. mlb sucks balls too. i'll watch cause i love basketball, but they need to clean house on the leadership on both the players and the owners side before i start spending my money directly on the nba.

    I can't say for this year, but I did have this when I first signed up for DTV last year, and I called to ask why I couldn't see the Rockets games. They didn't give me a straight up answer, but I ended up dragging out of them that you can't get anything for local teams on those stations.

    So, at least as of last year, getting this sports pack did me no good in terms of watching the Rockets (in Austin). So I canceled it.

    If anyone finds out something different, let me know (this would be much cheaper).
