My current watch was a gift to me from my fiance...it's Fossil. I haven't wore it in months...I gotta wear it again.
unrelated to the watch....i'm on the board of a nonprofit that does kickass work with families in a pocket of poverty on the west side of town. sponsors and coaches kids in sports leagues they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to play in...provides all sorts of services to the families...looking to do more and in need of more financing to get it done. don't know if that's something you're interested in or not, but i'm never ashamed to ask for something like that.
I have an Oris Diver Date for everyday use and a Casio Pathfinder that I wear for travel. I enjoy watches for their gadgetry or because if a precision piece of craftsmanship.
i do donate to charity too so i don't want to sound like a selfish money hoarding jerk. is there a website that yall have up or is it somewhere in one of those links in your sig?
can i email you off the board? and i wasn't intending to make you sound selfish...i'm sorry if it came across that way.
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? Besides, don't you have a cell phone? I personally have never been a watch kinda person. Being ambidextrous it always found a way to be IN the way, no matter which hand it was on.
i do this all the time - but inadvertently. I only own one watch - a Rolex Submariner - exactly like this one: and i wear it all the time - whether i'm going out to a fancy dinner or a client meeting or if i'm just going to a bar on a saturday afternoon to watch football with my buddies - and wearing a ratty t-shirt and shorts. its the only watch i have - so its on my wrist at all times.
max, do you have any church affiliation in brooklyn? i'm doing a soup kitchen in my gallery this month. http://open-source-gallery.org
