    That's 12:00 noon ET, 11:00 a.m. Houston time, 9:00 a.m. on the west coast. It's all simultaneous.

    I'm sure Mark and Rich will grab and run with the Swift story at 2 o'clock for about 2 minutes and then return back to covering the Texans. :rolleyes: They may even mention it again during the 2:20 update.

    So, what, they're holding a press conference, but no members of the press are there? Shouldn't they be, like, REPORTING on this or something?

    Maybe there is a snag in the deal or they are close to something else and want to announce both at the press conference.

    They already held the press conference if I am not mistaken, the local media just didn't cover it.

    thats what i thought too... It said they could be signed after noon.So why would they have a press conference at 1135 before he can be signed....waitr ooopps i should read further

    The local media didn't have a live feed. You can't have a press conference without the press.
    I'm with pgabriel, it's not a surprise. Only us hard core fans are disappointed. Most other people can wait until the evening news.
