    Will it be on 790? I mean, when was the last time DP hosted his own show? I think it's ok to cut that for the Stro signing.

    Both stations have nationally syndicated shows at that time so it is unlikely they will cut in for a press conference. I guess we will have to wait for the recap on a sports break.

    Looks like if we are lucky...we might get a mention of it on the noon news broadcast.

    Why would they broadcast a press conference to annouce a guy who averaged 9 and 5? This isn't the McGrady trade.

    Hmmm... Would I rather hear a broadcast of the press conference announcing the Rockets signing a new power forward, or would a rather listen to a national show wondering if Ken Obenfeld should be in the hall of fame.

    I'm guessing you're in the minority. The announcement of something that was reported several weeks ago is probably not going to be a real big ratings grab.

    Crap, not even NBA TV has anything on it!

    BTW, I just remembered reading that teams can announce signings after noon today, does that mean that the Rockets can't technically introduce Stro until noon today? If so, that might explain the delay until after noon.

    I think that's the case here
