Juan is exactly right. If the deal gets nixed, Anderson MUST go through the Rockets to get the deal he wants. No one else can offer him that kind of money.

It very well could be a problem. I did a little checking and things are still up in the air. Major confusion going on at the moment.

    No Chuckie...

Mrs. Rice has kicked her man in the foot w/ her 6inch heels in an attempt to continue living year-round in her CentralParkSouth Penthouse and I will never have to see old ass Glen Rice don our PJ's afterall...never ever.

Rockets spokesman Tim Frank said physicians were taking longer than expected to examine results of Rice's physical.

Translated: Coaches and staff are busy screaming at team physicians for not working fast enough on Rice's medical records. They are still trying to decide just how ****ed they are and when they've figured it out, they'll tell everyone. :D

Rice failed his physical. The docs found that his balls had been broken.

(NOTE TO THE IRONY-IMPAIRED: THIS IS A JOKE.)

What actually happened is that Rudy did a little more research into stem cells.

If Rice checks out, I'm satisfied. I'm fairly sure the Rockets won't blow their next 11 years worth of cap space on damaged goods. Just a hunch.

So no one thinks that Griffin punched Rice in the nose over #41, and screwed up Rice's nasal passages, which is causing the hold up?

(I still find it really nifty you can click the smiley you want to show up, and it'll put in the code for you.)

Anderson won't stay in Houston. He'll get dealt again or will just leave on his own.

Man, I feel bad for Rudy and co. because the process they are going through with this behind the scenes has to be mentally exhaustive and wretching!...

According to 610 the deal is not over. Dr. Lowe needs more info from Rice's physical before he approves him.

This whole situation is odd. Doc Rocket, oilepere, Clutch, anybody! Please tell us that the Rockets won't overpay Shandon and keep him! It sucks losing Rice, but it would be FAR worse to overpay Shandon for too many years. :(

Let's all hope this doesn't throw a wrench in things, whether we initially liked the trade or not. We had taken a step toward the future of this team... Shandon can leave on his own this year and I imagine he certainly would given the situation. We lost the Bull. I didn't think we were planning to build our offense around Walt Williams, and not sure if we could trade for anyone else this decent so late in the game.

aarrrgghh... I'm supposed to be doing work but I keep hitting "refresh" on the board... this is driving me nuts...
