$100 donations, and in turn 1 vote, from somebody who hasn't figured out how to accumulate wealth still counts as 1 vote. the fact that he's gotten about the same amount of money from even more donors shows his true popularity.
And this kind of elitist attitude is what will hurt any candidate you support. The disparaging of the middle and lower classes won't help you win an election.
