***spoiler alert*** in the final episode, jack saves the day. the country wins and the terrorists lose.
The plot is spoiled. I didn't know President Palmer was coming back. That makes everything different b/c the former president is in critical condition and they're invoking the 25th ammendment. so yeah, THE ****ING PLOT WAS SPOILED.
Well the fact that the VP's assistant (Sec. of ???) once backstabbed Palmer make it a HUGE DEAL. What's so hard from saying "New development on 24" in the title? ****ing nothing. goddammit!
I figured he was coming back but I didnt want to know when. It was spoiled for me. I hate thread titles like that.
You still don't know why he's back on the show, and it was no secret Hasbert was guest starring this season. I just don't understand why this is spoiler material. I can only assume the lot of you read the title and thought it meant he's back as POTUS. Obviously, that can't happen and I know you guys know that. I just can't wrap my head around what exactly has been spoiled.
The reason I TiVo'ed it last night is because I was out. Seems to me that the person who's home watching it in real time and then runs over to his keyboard to post about the show one minute after it ends is the person who should get out more ... Oski, you're a good guy and a smart guy, so I don't see what's so hard to understand. I'm not sure what it the official Internet BBS guide defines "spoiler" as, but as Master Baiter said, some of us knew he was coming back and didn't know when. And we didn't want to know it was next week before at least seeing the teaser for ourselves. Pretty simple, really.
My advice if you are a 24 fan, tread lightly in 24 threads and if you ever see a VesceySux post, don't read it. Keep tryin oldman. You'll never spoil me. MUAH HAHAHA!
Muh ha ha ha!! Eventually, you will break down and click my links! And when that moment arrives, I WILL OWN YOU. *twirls moustache*
Finally saw the 4/25/05 episode...Pretty good, as far as action is concerned...The arresting of Jack was gay, but other than that, Chloe rocked...
It is episodes like the 04/25 one that makes me want them to call the show '18' and let them have their sleep. In efforts to stretch the show out they have to do to many asinine things and make the CTU folks and other government officials look really inadequate and ill-prepared to handle a crisis.
I missed the first two episodes and therefore haven't been able to watch this season at all. Guess now I know that a) Palmer isn't in this season initially, and b) he comes back eventually. Thanks.
I want to go back and re-watch this season and count how many CTU operatives, cops and FBI agents have gotten killed. They aren't faring too well. But there are always 10 or 15 of them that can show up anywhere in America in 15 minutes so I guess we have a lot of them.
President Palmer has a meeting with the President. Did I spoil it? Too bad, you shouldn't be reading 24 threads if you don't want to be spoiled. It was in the preview for next week.
The "previews" for the upcoming shows also show ALL WEEK LONG on Fox, so give me a f'in break about spoilers... lol. If you guys take a show that seriously you need help. Hey, a terrorist is gonna be in next week's show.
