And as usual, neither candidate is worth voting for.

I have access to Canadian and European beer...why would I want American yellow water? ( God, no shower jokes.)

Seriously, though I'm not a beer guy, US beer sucks.

Hey, I listened to the Michael J Fox bio on CD on my way back to Houston, but he said growing up in Canada he said he always prefered Moosehead for beer? I dunno, I've never had it. Any good? Gotta ask a Canuck

Moosehead is good but I'm pretty sure its from Alaska. I could be completely talking out of my arse on this one though.

Yeah, it's pretty good, better than most. I was never that into beer, and when you bartend, your hands smell of stale beer at the end of the night, so it kinda puts you off it a bit, but when I do have one, Moosehead is one of those I'd take.

Usually I wouldn't care what beer Michael J Fox thinks is the best but anyone who has riden a skateboard on the back of a jeep by a gym waving at beautiful women to Huey Lewis' "The Power of Love" is a badass in my book! I plan on doing that as soon as I can in life.

I'm pretty sure it's from the Maritimes; Nova Scotia or, I think morelikely, New Brunswick.

just wondering - as a canadian --- if americans think canadian beer is better than american or the other way around. i mean, we are pretty damn proud of our beer - wondering if you guys agreed with us.

    Molson Canadian ad:

"Why don't I drink American beer???
    Why don't I drive a Morrocan snowmobile?
    Why don't I eat a Japanese hotdog?
Why don't I wear Italian hip waders?
    Or...Jamaican... snowshoes?
Why don't I drink American beer??? Because... I AM CANADIAN!"

Shiner is ok, but it's not a beer that I can drink a lot of. The taste is just a little too heavy for me. I think Miller Lite tastes great and I can drink it all night long.

As for Canadian beer, I honestly don't know if I've ever tried it. If I'm going to drink an import it is usually Dos Equis Special Lager or Corona. I used to be a big Gunniess fan, but it's really expensive and once again, not something that I can drink a lot of.

    My favorite beer? Jagermeister.

But seriously, I like Shiner Bock, Rolling Rock, Zeigenbock, Miller Lite, Red Stripe, Shiner Blonde... hell, the list just stretches on forever. In a pinch, I'll drink a 40 of Mickey's or Old English. Maybe drop down a six of Lone Star tallboys.

Mainly what I've been drinking lately though is Michelob Ultra. Decent flavor and lite as a feather.
