just fyi, if someone says that Obama doesn't deserve it and so does the Taliban, it doesn't mean they agree with terrorists

    Well...

    hmm

    If Taliban=terrorists

and you=agree with them on this particular issue

then, yes, on this issue, you agree with terrorists.

AND using the distributive product of Glenn Beckism

if you agree with terrorists now

what doesn't say you always agree with terrorists? not saying you are but it's in the back of everyone's head. We might as well get it in the open. Can you not deny these charges?

There are people out there who are angry that I know personally. It has nothing to do with them being a fan of the award because I tested tha theory out personally. I asked did they know of anyone else who has won the award besides Obama, and all they could come up with is Gore and Martin Luther King, Wow! These same people go to tea parties and watch fox all day and they take Fox as bible and as an actual credible new station. One of them even told me that they make their kids watch Glen Beck everyday and that Glen Beck is their hero. In my opinion if the Nobel committee decision to award Obama this prestigious award caused you to feel up with so much anger that you turned red then there is something seriously wrong with that individual.

Well, If Obama is a terrorist (which all evidence says he is), then I think I am obviously disagreement with terrorists while the rest of you hippie liberals are plotting with the president to do God knows what

Where did someone explicitly quote terrorists? I havnt read the whole thread.

But there are terrorists that want the US out of Afghanistan. if you want out of the war in Afghanistan does that make you a terrorist supporter?

    SIR

In 1991, you may or may not have been caught in possession of the Anarchist's Cookbook as well as some funny-smelling paste.

we're thinking this is completely ridiculous.

But some people do think this is true. and you owe it to those people to give a full explanation of your devious crimes. of course, we would never be caught espousing these beliefs, god no.

that's fine, if they want the US out of Afghanistan, simply state it..

why did they have to quote the Taliban?

It is in basso's bizarroworld thread.

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=4798024&postcount=70

Jamaat-e-Islami was responsible for the bombings several months ago in India, and calls for suicide bombing Americans among other things.

Basso is apparently very distraught at the idea that Jamaat-e-Islami doesn't approve of the award. He's completely broken up over it, in fact.

I'm not sure those guy are quoting terrorists to support their argument. Basso quoted Muslim's, some of which were terrorist's because someone said that Obama had changed the views of Muslims. The quotes supported what the opposite, he wasn't really using it as his base argument for what he thinks.

What is basso's base argument? I don't see his own words except for quotes from terrorist organizations.

Howbout Faos quoting a whole article about the Taliban's opposition and even bolding the title?

All I will say is. Does he really deserve the award more than say Morgan Tsvangirai? I guess as long as he lives up to it in the end then it is a good thing. However its sad that in doing so it has degraded the awards credibility. Why not just wait another couple of years until when he may deserve it?
