*IF* he wins, I expect him to be extremely unpopular during his first two years in office. *IF* he wins, no matter the margin, some of the far right will say the election was rigged by ACORN. Limbaugh will really get his fire back, with somone to attack, all day every day, and FOX News will just continually shred him. On top of all of that, we'll go through the worst of the recession. *IF* he wins, I expect him to quickly repair a lot of international damage and improve America's image almost overnight. That won't matter to much to Joe Plumber, et alia, but in the longer term this will be a great boon.
When he wins, I expect McCain to come out in support of him and stop all this blatent racism from the McCain campaign. DD
Not time to get cocky. . If your thread about Colorado McCain Supporters proved anything, it's that a silent majority (not so silent) exists everywhere. I think Obama wins, but I think calling it now is a bit premature. Yes, the polling indicates that he has a sizable lead, but when was the last time we heard so much hatred and ignorance spewing from people about a presidential candidate?
