Folx seem to Expect THEIR GUY to HOOK THEM UP when they get in Office i.e. GW was an Oil man . . he went in and made things good for Oil men however Among black folx I talk to . . . They expect NOTHING from Obama No hook up No special treatment Not even an extra effort to make things more equal They expect nothing more than him to be a typical American President Heck . . I have heard this phrase among black folx more than any other group "He running for the president of the United States of America . . not the Black United States of America." Just as when Bush had a republican congress, Obama will have no checks and balances to control any type of spending that will be proposed. I see campaign promises that of course will be broken, with a raise in taxes to cover the spending. Absolute power corrupts absolutly!
1. Fix our infrastructure, pay our contractors to work in AMERICA rather than Iraq, and make sure that our bridges don't FALL APART and that the next time we get a CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE we don't lose power for weeks. Why hasn't the McCain campaign said a damn thing about infrastructure? It benefits the entire country and stimulates the economy by adding jobs, domestic ones not foreign ones. 2. Get out of Iraq. The first step to restoring our image within the Middle East is to stay the hell out of their way as they conduct their tribal wars. Make sure they don't get nukes, and that's about all the intervention you need to have. Be ready to negotiate when they are ready to put aside their differences.

The WAR is over......there is no battleground. Right now, it is a police action with a military force trained for combat...there is no battlefield. So, I move the troops out ASAP....let the Iraqis handle Iraq...it is their country. DD
