@490k barrells went into the reserve last week. So if we didn't add to the reserve, our oil stock available to process would have risen by (490k-226k=) 264k barrells. i.e. We would had a surplus. But since last week we did put 490k away for a rainy day, we used more than we imported or pumped.

Next weeks numbers should show a surplus and this should bring the cost of oil down which should bring the cost of gas down.

Every Wednesday at 10:30edt, they release a new report.

You're confused? Who was President when we went to war in WWI? WWII? Korea? Vietnam? The Balkans?

That's right, a Democrat. Vietnam was a strategic blunder of monumental proportions, but at least somewhat explainable in the context of the Cold War. The other conflicts, and those are what I came up with off the top of my head, were all justified, in my opinion. Democratic Presidents going to war, to further US ideals, help US friends, and US strategic interests.

    Not too difficult, really.

Yeah, Deckard. I know a little bit about history. I'm confused what that has to do with the discussion.

You and I went off on a TR tangent, which led to my post. Not complicated, but not on topic.

(way to run away, Hayes! ;) )

I never said Democrats didn't have interventions. I said I wasn't sure if you'd be bully for TR's aggressive foreign policy. He very well could have undertaken interventions like Iraq. Complexity wasn't the reason for my confusion. :)

    Pfffft? That is your argument?

    I will respond in kind.

    Pshaw.

Now your argument is an antiperspirant commercial?

Please respond when you can inject some logic, facts, or any kind of evidence into your "argument."

Experts doubt Bush gas plan will cut costs

President George W. Bush's latest plans to fight high gasoline prices in the United States are either too limited or too late to make a difference during the upcoming summer driving season, energy analysts said on Wednesday.

Analysts doubted whether either proposal would reduce gasoline prices

But Jr sure did look presidential talking about it yesterday.

Too little too late, probalby, but I'll take anything right about now and I live close to work...Now there is talk of this $100 rebate which is kinda the same thing, too little, too late...

Who knows the right answer as you can't penalize a company for making profits, that's the american way and that is business...If its illegal that's another story...
