Do have anything to back your opinion up with? Or do you just spew hypocritical ignorance?

Not sure what he is like as a person, but the glimpses we have seen do not give me the impression that he would qualify as a "great man."

    alcoholic
    superstitious
    spiteful
    anti-intellectual
    inarticulate
    authoritarian
    angry
    megalomaniac

It would be tough to argue against him as being the Worst President Ever, though.

I agree. Without the family, he would have probably been one of the 2 guys in this picture. Doesn't really matter which one...

I've seen him be blamed for the 2001 recession. He is treated as if every republican is him. I've seen him blamed for 9/11. He and the Republicans do not deserve sole blame for our current economy.

His administration is very much liable for mishandling 2 wars and growing our National Deficit to this point, which is largely where his fault in the current recession comes from.

The democrats have done nothing that impressive while in control of congress, which is why I have little faith in them either at this point. Both parties have to evolve and improve in order to make our country as great as it can be.

Nothing I've seen politically was as galling to me as Bush dressed up in his pilot's costume on board the aircraft carrier with the gigantic "Mission Accomplished" banner. I have family members who were airforce pilots, and to see a draft dodger strut around like a war hero made me so angry, even to this day. I don't really blame him for avoiding the Vietnam war but to act like G.I. Joe and declare "victory" in such a manner exposed him as so clueless. I felt it was a slap in the face to real military servicemen. I wonder what real pilots and war heroes that faced real combat (like John McCain) must have thought watching that. I think that'll always be the lasting image I have of Bush.

GWB is a nice man. I'd love to have a beer with him.

He is also the two-term Republican version of Jimmy Carter....in way over his head, causing more harm than good. He is responsible for the end of the "Reagan Revolution" and the end of the Conservative movement as we know it. Because of the man's ineptitude, the Dems will be in charge for 8+ years.
