I saw Bill Clinton speak in Austin a couple of years back. He was amazing. If anything, he exemplified the office of president. Bush on the other hand, not so much.

He will arrive shortly before 5:00 p.m. expected to depart an hour later. Tickets are required to attend the event, and they will not be available at the door
A one hour visit. Is it on Air Force one? Who's paying for that? They better damn well make it open to the public.
Nah, I don't care. I just wanted to say "damn well..." I met Richard Morrison one time and shook his hand and it was a very creepy experience. His hand was really soft like he's never used them and it was really moist. I wiped it off on my pants like almost immediately as I walked away almost as a reason, then I hoped he didnt see me because I didnt want to be rude. It was sort of like that episode of King of the Hill.
Dude, they've got scalpers standing out on Highway 6 selling tickets for half of face value. Apparently, President DoLittle doesn't quite have the star power he used to.
I don't get your insult if you were making one... If you weren't.. then yeah. First time was funny. I was like... 8? My mom was talking to Barbara, telling her that I was a big fan of Bush Sr. I think she told her the story when I cried in school when he lost to Clinton in our elementary school elections. Haha, that's kinda funny when I type it out.
I saw an incredible attack ad on Lampson on TV last night. HE WANTS TO GIVE TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO BUY ABORTION PILLS!!! Once when I was covering a Clear Creek reclamation project for a local paper, we were out on a small barge speeding down the creek checking out the smooth cord grass that volunteers had planted along the banks. The idiot pilot decided to cross the other barge's wake and I was damn near thrown out of the boat. Luckily, Nick Lampson swiftly reached over and grabbed me before I hit the drink. Maybe he didn't save my life, but it was still pretty righteous of him. Nick Lampson is a class guy who kept it real every time I met him. I'm not an encyclopedia on his politics, but he doesn't deserve to be called a babykiller and worse by this woman. He'd certainly be about 30 giant leaps up from Tom Delay, whom I also spoke with a few times. That man had all-black shark eyes. You know what he reminded me of? One of the aliens from "V" wearing a human suit. Needless to say, I didn't go boating with him.
