How do you tank and improve the team at the same time. If the defense is legit you’re really playing with fire. Ain’t no way I’m declaring someone a bust after 5 passes. As good as Mills looked, many of his throws were still inaccurate. If Stroud can at least get to that lvl with better accuracy he’ll already be better than Mills. I think we can wait a few weeks at least to find out.

I think something else that people aren’t accounting for is that Bobby Slowik seems to have gotten a rhythm as well as a play caller throughout this game.

At the moment, Keenum might be their best QB.

Won't claim that he has much upside, but he comes across as steady.

Nico may not be back next year, unless he produces. The future for the Texans at WR is Metchie, Tank, and Hutchinson.

I'm not declaring anyone a bust, but Mills was one of the worst QBs in the league last year. if your QB selected with the 2nd overall pick can't beat out Mills that would be disappointing.

I would argue having Mills at QB for 17 games would be tanking....

I'm not even gonna lie. I'm hoping Keenum starts. I'd love to see him play for the city of Houston again.

I know it's so early, but I have a weird feeling these three are going to keep shining ... all three caught the eye test tonight especially Tank obviously

Nico is not shining unfortunately but it's still early

FWIW, the reports out of camp so far is Nico is Stroud’s favorite target

So far through 3/4 I am more than impressed with the defense than I expected and the WR - I thought this was the weakness of the team..They looked actually impressive,

    - obviously I wanted to see something more from CJ Stroud, but I don't think he had a lot to work with in the beginning. Plus he was having in the moment jitters.
