I watched the game on NBA TV....he looks great, very confident, moves well without the ball and is even passing fairly well.

In short he looks like a real NBA rotational player.

I was jesting with the post...we are already talking about him in the NBA dish...sorry for the derailing.

NBA dish thread for GG discussion

I know this is off thread topic. But I really think that the Rockets cutting him had a profound effect on him. He obviously went out and worked hard this off season to try and make this Dallas team.

He always had the potential to be something special. He's got a lot of talent. I just hope he doesn't go off against us now. I wish we could have kept him last season, but then who's to say that he would have worked as hard then.]

Edit: and now taking it to the GG thread in NBA dish. Sorry I responded before you hit me up with the link.

Must we forget that this is a preseason game. I also heard the play by play announcers say he has a long way to go. My guess is he will be buried at the end of the bench.

Von Wafer. I expected 0's across the board, but he managed to put up some numbers. (except for scoring, he came pretty close to 0's)

I still don't even know who the guy is... does he like long walks on the beach? Rafer, Van Gundy love child?

If he gets cut, I won't be too surprised, but he still impressed me the most.

I already knew what to expect from the rest of the crew. (I'm truly shocked that McGrady is injured. Shocked!)

I voted Artest. I haven't seen much preseason action, but what I saw...he was the best player on the court and dominated the action. I expected that to be Yao.

What would yall say the Mavs starting 5 and rotation will be this year? Will Green be a piece to the puzzle?

Can I just say, "the guards"?

It was our big worry headed into the season...Would we find anyone to play behind Rafer? Now we have a hard decision whether to play Brooks, Barry, Strawberry, Wafer, or Head?
