    The preseason games aren't anywhere near as important as we once thought they were. They get plenty of snaps in practice and even play several mock games vs other teams in practice. Preseason games are really more about milking fans than anything.

    the knock on Akers and Mixon is they don't block. Pierce blocks.

    Brooks looks good playing fullback.

    The Texans are really weak at LB after Al Shaair and Harris.

    These backup LB's are bad.
