I'm going to record it to make sure my dvr works, then delete it. Hopefully we don't lose any more Olinemen.
I'll be looking at the WR spot, with no starters playing, it will be an all out contest for the 4 and 5 spot.(although it will be crummy competitors) The competition in itselve will be fun to watch.
It's just gonna suck for all the WRs trying to win a job when it's Leinart throwing to them. Everything he throws looks like a lob, even his shovel passes have a good arc.
I'm hoping to not see a single key player take the field tomorrow. That includes Reed, Tate, and Ward.
The NFL went through a whole offseason of labor strife/revised CBA yet we're still stuck with a pointless 4th preseason game that nobody wants to play in or watch, or, even worse, be forced to buy season tickets for...THE FANS THANK YOU!
my thoughts exactly. you already know what you're getting out of Leinart. If anything, play him the first quarter and play Yates the other three quarters. In his limited time, Yates has shown that he is always looking down field for the long pass and not just settling for the check down like Leinart.
It's like what lieutenant told his men in the episode the last patrol of BOB...." I don't think anyone wants to do anything stupid at this point." Let's get thing over with. =)
I really wish the NFL would wise up and put the 1st and 4th preseason games in neutral sites to increase regional (or even international) exposure and let the 2nd and 3rd preseason games happen in normal venues (one home, one away). Season ticketholders only have to pay for one, and it's going to be a worthwhile one from a "sneak preview" perspective.
His release looks NFL ready compared to the limp hand throws that Leinart does. His pretty-boy-poor-man-David-Carr ass needs to be released.
The re-air actually starts at 9:00pm on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing the young players get a chance to make the team. Game release Flip Card Uniform Combination: White jersey / blue pants
Texans will be much better than the Cowboys this year...of the two teams, the Texans will make the playoffs...
the cowboys are a mystery, no idea how good/bad they will be. it is no mystery, however, that their division is tough, tough, and very improved. they may very well finish in the cellar.
I think they'll be a solid 9-7 or maybe even 10-6, Dez Bryant gets to really come out of the cage this year with Roy gone, obviously Romo will help, and coming off of a down year I think they'll be inspired. With that said though, I don't see a playoff berth in that division being taken with a 9-7 record.
