Nah, he'just been working on his shot, especially set jumpers, since he got traded here. He's literally just been practicing catching and shooting long jumpers more than ever before.
o haha, i am not from the US and i ddidn't know what parris island was just googled it up and looks like its a marine camp?? that must be more awesome than watching rockets games... don't get me wrong, rockets games are amazing to wathc...haha
I'm in for the hardest 3 months of my life can't wait.... even though I will miss almost all of this season since im going to school of infantry after boot...
That was actually the 1st time I saw him taking midrange jumper. He had never done that before in his NBA carrer
The only blocked shot for the Rockets came from Brooks. He made up ground and got up to tip an 18-foot jump shot from Parker.
the important thing is did he improve? he was a good shooter with great speed last year. i'm interested to see if his passing / decision making got any better. i don't expect him to be a great mid range shooter or t the rim finisher due to his size.
Well, If you want to become a Marine, it is a necessary step... and I wan't to become a Marine so I have to do it.
Yea, check out his shot chart from prior seasons. He's taken a few. Never made one outside of about 8 feet though. http://www.nba.com/hotspots/
Anyone else impressed with how easy ron shoots those threes. the man has it all. inside/outside. he in my opinion is the third best SF in the league. his game is much more complete then what melos is.
It's strange isn't it... I would never have guessed the man was a competent 3 pt shooter. He seemed to have really worked on it this off-season.
