Warming the bench like he most likely will do most of the season except for when Yao is injured.

Chuck nose is probably healed enough that he doesn't need the mask anymore.

Now we just need our first unit chemistry up and going, and we're good to go.

Now work on the next six days to get everything fine tuned for the start of a tough schedule. Can't wait for next week.

Why? Because we let them score like 97 points? You also have to take into note that we had 22 turnovers and they only scored 97.

Tracy's beginning to find his rythym. Just give him some time, he'll catch on. I think if he plays limited minutes for the first few games, and takes it slow, he'll be alright.

Great game offensivly, some big minutes for Tracy, Yao but they neded it. Looks like McGrady is finding his rythm.

The only thing I am concerned is defense. We were horrible.

yeah I don't think Tracy necessarily has to play 30 mins or more a game this early. let him get his rhythm, test the knee now in tougher regular season games and go form there. Its starting to show though how much we miss shane. It'll be a while until we get him back to get our D going. He defends the opposing teams best player and until we get that back, its pust a bit more of a burden on the our big Three.

Not only for that. Ron and Tracy will both feel better separately. Scola too (with them on the court, only 5 shots). Battier fits better with the starters and Ron does it off the bench. Even he can shot that mandolines because Landry and Chuck will go hard for the rebound. Everything works better.

McGrady looked better and better as he got more confident that his knee was'nt gonna give out . this game will do his cofidence alot of good.

wow some people are judging everyone on his SECOND PRESEASON game after playing just 12 minutes of real game so far since the injury. thank god you're not an analyst.

The global sensation is that this team... is very very good. We are gonna win games playing halfway, and without serious injuries of key players we should be around 60 wins for sure.

We did not get Ron Artest to waste his talent by putting him on the bench, we are not the Spurs, we are not gonna make a 6th man out of an all-star caliber, Artest is a better starter and we need more scoring than defense, and I could care less about the amount of shots Scola gets, he went 1-4, he did not deserve any more shots.

Look at the rotation today. You add Battier and Alston there and nobody need to play more that 30 minutes during the regular season except Yao.... Get Deke ASAP!

He is out of shape,Soon as he get's in shape he'll be fine and as the game wore on he did start to get comfortable.

Dude, the story about Scola and Barry in the Mini Cooper was a classic. I'd love to see a photo of that!

    As for the game:
    - I was particularly encouraged by the strong play of the second unit who really jelled. Throwing Artest out there with Chuck, Landry's, After Burner and BB will let us stretch out leads against other teams second units big time.
    - Artest is showing himself so far to have a strong inside/outside game, with good ball handling, passing and decision making.
    - The first unit looked disjointed, but we were without our starting PG and SF with a tentative and gimpy SG and a still getting into shape C. Not time to worry yet.
