I know I just didn't think he would attack this way in a preseason game. And by it being the first game for him I thought he was just going to test the knee to see how it acts in game action. But it looked like Tracy was really trying to play at a high level thats what I couldn't believe.
He made a few Mistakes but that's what it's going to take for him to learn the NBA game. He made some plays as well,Can't focus on teh negative all the time especially in preseason,He was running the show when we were up by 10 points, he had a AND one, another blow by runner,he just is going to have to tighten up on a few things here and there. Can't crucify mistakes,He's learning right now on the job with the extended minutes.
The thing about Rafer is that when he's playing you hardly even notice he's in there. He just transparently runs the offense and you hardly think of him at all unless he's shooting. Watching Brooks is like watching a car wreck about to happen whenever he's out there. The man just thinks too much.
Just tuned in on the radio at work. How is the offence doing? The Adleman offence I mean. Good cuts? Easy baskets? I'm reading from this BBS that Artest is bustin some heads.
As a PG Brooks is gonna get murdered in the post season if he sees any action at all, I thought rafer was bad at trapping himself under high pressure but Brooks manages to do that under no pressure at all. Post season ball is where you need your PG to stay calm and make the right play under intense pressure, basically keeping ur composure (steadfast quarterback of the O), the better PGs out there play under that pressure like it was not there brooks is showing major cracks and this is just the preseason, would be scary at what he does later . . . thankfully we have Barry
brooks needs to learn what a pg is, and what a pg does. I have a feeling hes just been riding his speed and scoring ability all through college.
He's a young player who hasn't had enough playing time to learn the NBA game,He's getting minutes right now to get his game going and understand what it takes to play on the NBA level.
The problem with Brooks is that he is too short. It's harder for him to see over the opposition and make passes that, lets say, Tmac would be able to make because of his height. Therefore, he has to use his speed and simpler passes to make the same passes that other players could get fancy with. If he doesn't learn that, he'll never make it as a PG.
that's the problem, he has no PG vision yet he tries to be a facilitating PG just play your game Aaron
Brooks is more like earl spud webb or even nate robinson. there game revolves around being aggressive offensivley. he is a scorer first type guard.
One time I was able to watch a Rockets game but only had sound for about 15 minutes because the speaker was messing up. I am about to break that record today. Thanks, Heinsohn, you blowhard.
