Please note that the NFL Network broadcast will be blacked out in the Houston area as well as the areas in the Texans television network. If you are recording the game, make sure have it on Channel 13, otherwise you'll get a blank screen. To answer Grandpappy's question, yes, the game should be broadcast in HD. Channel 13 was late to the HD party, but the last year or so they finally got their act together.
No they didn't. Their "HD" broadcast looked like it was put on by a high school TV department. It's awful... especially compared to most other teams' preseason feeds. Its no wonder that NFL network does not show the Texans feed for their NFL replays.
I just went to Academy here in Austin and was shocked to find out they don't carry a single piece of Texans merchandise. Sometimes I really miss home.
