The offense looked flat and it might have been a different outcome if the starters played all night for both teams.
case showed absolutely nothing, they were giving him way too much credit for that lob pass, case was lucky the lb's vertical wasnt an inch higher or it would have been picked off..
Remember Arian Foster plays better as the game progresses. His endurance gives him the edge against tired first and second team defenses in the fourth quarter.
The thing I was happiest about was seeing was Schaub building a rapport with guys like Jean and Martin.
kept dozing off while watching the game, but he had a bad good pass. Thought it was short, but he placed it well to his receiver.
I love Case but one good pass isn't gonna cut it. He followed that one good pass with two bad ones. He's gonna need to show way more if he's gonna make the team. Right now, he's looking like he'll be on the practice squad.
Not really. Arian had a nice run for 24 yards in the 2nd quarter but that was really the only time a big hole opened up. Forsett and Grimes had a couple nice runs in the 2nd half though with the reserves. Foster still had 46 yards on 10 carries though and remember that SF had the best rushing defense in the league last year.
let's also not forget the 49er's were also missing key players and kubes played the 1's for a bit longer than they did, so take it for what it's worth. some game footage is all.
sorry for some reason i thought cody and jj watt, who is causes chaos on all plays and not just passing downs didn't play. Must have missed them.
You are the most miserable "texans fan" here. You remind me of randy quaid from major league, but not as articulate
Well, maybe I am remembering that nice lob pass a bit too much, but I like how quick he can settle before the pass.
The offense was crisp moving the ball. The timing with the receivers was spot on, right where it should be. The running game was halted a bit but that is to be expected with the mixing and matching of the right side , plus, facing one of the best d's at stopping the run. As for smith and their Offense only playing a couple of series. Hmmm, smith only threw the ball 5 less times than schaub and he couldn't even get two attempts in because he was sitting on his arse. So in reality, schaub only threw 3 more pass attempts. The only thing to frown upon in this game is that cushing should have been taken out at the first signs of him grimacing in pain. The right side had too many penalties for anyone's liking.
