Honestly..... I would be worth $1 million by age 30 (I'm going for 40, now-stupid internet) I would be married with kids. (OK, got that half right) BEST ONE: The world would end in the 2000! (I thought this would happen since I was 5, and I'm not kidding!!! Probably why I'm trying to scrape my life back together after this didn't happen) I'm an Episcopalian, and I thought I would not live past 28. (again.... my opinions, no-one else's) I, also was given an I.Q. of 172. So, again, I thought that my thoughts, as a child, were better than most, if not all. Unfortunately, now I just try and realize that the world does not revolve around myself and my opinions. Interesting aside: One of my good friends with a high I.Q. (169) was talking to me on Friday night about how depressed he was. I should probably start a new thread on this, and I've decidedd I will!
Ousmanne Cisse. But I did get the "Darrell Armstrong will have a damn good career" prediction right before the 1997-98 season.
The most recent prediction I have been totally wrong about was predicting last October that the Rockets would lose to the Mavs in this year's Western Conference Finals!
I know it is not how its supposed to be done, but I think a lot of voters are waiting for the whole trilogy is out until giving these movies their due. I think you will see ROTK rack up way more awards than the other two simply because the trilogy of movies really acts like one big movie rather than 3 seperate ones.
The first time I heard Biggie, I thought he was overrated. 10 years ago, I also thought Penny Hardaway was overrated, then he and Shaq eventually made the Finals.
I told a friend that MJ would never win a ring...that he was too selfish....I told friends in junior high that MJ was overrated. That he shot 45 times to score 40 points, and that wasn't impressive. I thought he was all hype, no substance. MJ changed...he grew up...and I was wrong.
I've lost about 250000 in the stock market on paper in the past three years. Only about 50000 in the red right now. Also thought CD's would get cheaper than the 14.99 to 16.99 they came out at in the 1980's.
Mack Brown will win a conference championship while I'm a student at UT. Chris Simms is better than Major Applewhite.
