"You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. With the pieces they already have in place and myself, we can do some amazing things next season."

Does this mean Cat will fumble the ball to Kobe ( kobe didn't steal that, Pip tripped) and then blame it on Maurice ? Cat may not have the all around game of Pip (overated, ask dirk nowitzki and bryon russell and sean elliot and.......), but he can already stick it from beyond 12.

I was a fan of you-know-who when we picked him up too. I esp thought he'd help defensively. We were all fooled.

Don't be such ... well you know ... people. I for one always like read objective stuff from other fans. Other fan jerks annoy me, but that is what they want. JCBlazersGirl33 is not one of those. I love the enthusiasm from some of you all, but do we really want to only hear from blindly, true-blue Rocket fans? It wouldn't be as much fun if the whole world were Rocket fans. Let's ease up on all true-blue basketball fans.

Bryon russell? Come one. You mean the guy Pippen shot a game winning basket over to eliminate the Spazz in last year's playoff's right? If you ask most league GMs, if they'd rather have elliot, russel, Dirk, over pip- you know what they answere would be. I'll be honest and admit that I'd probably take Dirk over Pip only if i was rebuilding and i need some young talent. I can't imagine Portland yearning to trade Pippen for any of those guys and Tbob could most certainly orchestrate it if he had to.

A lot of Rocket fans misunderstand Pippen's purpose on the Blazers. Pippen is one the downside side of his career and we're not asking him to put up big numbers night in and night out. Our team is to deep for anyone to average 20 anyway (I'd love for Sheed, if anyone, to do that actually). For a guy whose had 2 major back, foot, and ankle and surergies, I'm amazed he's still, walking, let alone running with the speed he does. We need him to be the catylist, floor genreal; maintain the team's defensive intensity and get up for the big games. What i personally want to see is Sheed being the main go to guy, not Kemp as soem fans do. If Stoudamire can mantain his positive attitude regarding minutes, he won't hve his ass traded. I don't want to see Mouse go, i just want him to play some D...cngrats on the win. my )$0.02

PHILOSOPHY "Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: 'mankind'. Basically, it's made up of two separate words -- 'mank' and 'ind'. What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind."
