there are 7 games that are tough to win, that is against the Lakers, Denver, Spurs, OKC twice, Chicago and Dallas, suppose we came out with a 3-4 record, then we lose another 2 lossed to scrubs, then our record would stand at 11-6 that's my prediction, 11-6!!!! book it
I have no idea of how the chemistry in those back to back without Yao going to work I reserve my prediction after the game 6.
I like that schedule to start the season, they could very well win at least 12 of those games, maybe even as many as 15, but I would be happy with 12
pretty much, we never did see all our starters playing togethr during the preseason. i predict 17 knee-jerk threads
14-2 Tue 26 @ LA Lakers W Wed 27 @ Golden State L Sat 30 vs Denver W Wed 03 vs New Orleans W Sat 06 @ San Antonio W Sun 07 vs Minnesota W Wed 10 @ Washington W Fri 12 @ Indiana W Sun 14 @ New York W Tue 16 vs Chicago W Wed 17 @ Oklahoma City W Fri 19 @ Toronto W Mon 22 vs Phoenix W Wed 24 vs Golden State W Fri 26 @ Charlotte W Sun 28 vs Oklahoma City W Mon 29 @ Dallas L Looks like our Scedule in the first month looks easy.
Not to pick on you, but I hate when people say stuff like this. Like Texans fans saying, "We can go 1-15 as long as we beat Dallas." That's loser-talk.
This is my prediction, and my thoughts exactly. The Rockets are very good, and will show that by beating the Lakers on Tuesday. But they're not great and won't beat all the teams that they're supposed to beat, and end up around 3rd or 4th in the West at the end of the month.
Thanks Commodore, TesseracT, and el_locotee! I am surprised that not many others predicted losses for the first week. Hopefully, the prediction is right and the Rockets get the 1st W against the Spurs on Saturday.
