    Yao Ming is still trying to get in the groove. Brad Miller is still trying to get his stamina up. Rockets will go on an early 4 game losing streak, before righting the ship.

    I remember last year Clutch did a cool thread with a bunch of over/under predictions, I can't seem to find it.

    Would be fun to do again this year.

    i think it's safe to say the first month is unpredictable.

    we have so many new players i'm having trouble gauging how well we'll be able to play.

    I am going with 10-7. Think we will loose to denver, OKC and chicago. Yao needs to get back to game speed and the team needs to work in some of the new guys.

    I predict us hovering around .500. Its going to take some time to figure out when and where to allocate Yao's minutes. Basically we have to create a team with two separate identities. I wonder if he see any minutes during the final 5 minutes of games for awhile? Plus, just like Adelman said, its unfair to just pencil down Yao for 24 minutes.

    Gotta love the enthusiasm for the people predicting double digit wins the first month! If this happens, AB and Kevin Martin will both be in the All-Star game, Adelman will be coach of the year, and Chuck Hayes will be most improved player.

    Unfortunately, the more likely scenario is multiple threads involving "Yao's career is virtually over", "AB should be traded", and the annual "trade Battier" and "Why did we trade Rudy Gay for Battier?".

    Patience is key with this team this year.
