LOL. Even if the Rockets lose thier next game, the OP will be right because they did win 2 games in a row since he started this thread.
The Rockets don't show up unless their backs are against the wall. The last thing they need is good-will from the fans.
I hate to say it but you could be right !! If we beat the Cavs then this team has finally found its identity.....The Rockets can do it !!
This next game is going to be big-time. The Rockets are hot at the moment and get to show what they are made of against a really good opponent. The Cavs are also on a 5-game winning streak, dismantling everyone in their path. Thursday, we are going to learn a lot about our team. We know they can beat some pretty good opponents in Portland and Dallas, but can they hang with the big boys?
Two teams with 4 game winning streaks faced off between Portland and Houston, and we came out on top. Now two teams with 5 game winning streaks between the Rockets and the Cavaliers. Let the trend continue.
I think we have a decent chance... Ron Ron bothers the hell outta Lebron. Yao needs to stay outta foul trouble. Hopefully the refs are fair. And we're at home.
Mon 09 @ Milwaukee L 112-124 Wed 11 vs Sacramento W 94-82 Tue 17 vs New Jersey W 114-88 Fri 20 vs Dallas W 93-86 Sun 22 vs Charlotte W 99-78 Tue 24 vs Portland W 98-94 Wait, what does "jinx" mean exactly? I thought for instance if the above pattern had been reversed (I.E. W, W, W, W, W, predict W, then L), that would be a jinx. That's how I hear sportscasters use it anyways. Like when the play-by-play guy mentions a certain player at the line is on a F.T. shooting streak, then he misses the very next shot, the color guy pretends to get mad at him and says "hey, way to jinx it!" etc. Or do I have that backwards? Because the only other way I've heard it is "Jinx, owe me a coke!", but that obviously doesn't work on the internet, because all posts are numbered by order.
I know you are trying to be realistic but how about some optimistic. Everything start with hope.....including Championship.............Obama is a good example.
