Agree. But the bench just like a nerval knife. Stabilization is too hard to them. About rest of the team 7-32 in Rockets vs Bobcats, Adelman attributed to the cooperation between inside and outside. Is it like that?
3:1. It's just so hard to pull out 4 wins in such a tense schedule. I would be very happy with 3 wins. I would also be settled for 2 wins if we can beat suns.
4-0 is do-able, but highly unlikely. 3-1 is what I'm hoping for. We lose to PHX on a back-to-back, but we kill Spurs cuz Duncan played like he was afraid of Yao and Bonzi will be Bonzi against the Spurs. 2-2 is the most likely outcome. Not gonna be happy but I guess it's acceptable. 1-3 will be disappointing. 0-4 I'll be pissed, and on top of that there will be 4000 trade Yao trade Tmac Fire Rick threads to put up with for a while.
He had a bad shooting night because Yao guarded him, not because we "lucked out". Yao will prove it to you again in case you didn't realize it.
If the Rockets lose to anyone, it sure as hell isn't going to be the Lakers. I say 4-0. I'll settle for 3-1 with a loss to Phoenix at this point in the season. The Rockets offense still has a long way to go.
if we can win spurs and suns, lose grizzle and LAL,that's also a great thing! 3-1 that's my prediction!
You realise that he missed a lot of easy layups, right? Shots that he otherwise would have made? If Yao's defence on Duncan was so great how come no one - the players or the coaches or even the reporters - mentioned it? I'll remember this post when Duncan has his way with our defence. I hope you do too.
Two back to backs. Grizz could be a trap game. Lakers and spurs looking to equalize. There wasn't much improvement against the Mavs so could be the same against the Suns. 0-4 would not be shocking, it's a tough stretch. Optimisticaly maybe 2-2.
From what i've seen, Yao did a decent job on TD. He altered every single shot by TD and even make a block, and cause a lot of TOs with the help of our guards like MJ and Rafer.
we won in SA twice last yr so i think we have a good chance. we might lose to the suns just b/c it's a B2B (last yr we played them 3 frekain times on a b2b and beat them when we had days off). why do we always face the suns on a b2b? but prollie 3-1
Our schedule is just strange for this month B2b games Dallas and San Antonio Memphis Lakers San Antonio Phoenix Miami Denver Phoenix Golden State
the suns on a second night of a back to back will be too tough. the question is can we beat the spurs on the road? the rockets looked in control the whole game last time but playing in san antonio is much different. i'm gonna have to mentally prepare for 2-2.
As long as the Rocks win the first two, I'm happy... they need to win all the games they're supposed to win. San Antonio at home will be a struggle, but it was done last year. And why do we always draw Phoenix on the back end? Didn't this happen last year about this time? At least it will be at home, which should help.
My prediction for the week is 3:1 Tue @ MEM --> WIN (Another poor start but great finish) Wed vs LAL --> WIN (Yao will have a great game) Fri @ SAS --> LOSS (Spurs tie the series) Sat vs PHX --> WIN (This is the game that will get us rolling!)
