I am officially announcing my retirement from the Sim League Challenge. I finished 2nd to Nomar last season and won this one so I will retire on top.:D

It's sad, the kid had so much left in him.

Bah! Guessing 3.51 minutes before the bid was due is a pretty cheap way to win, if you ask me. :( ;)

What was Duch's run-support figure? Was I way off? And what good does a nickname give me? I'd rather the consolation prize be a less-talented created dude, or even better a few extra bonus points towards next season's challenge.

It was like 5.2. The team avg 5.78 for the season. The deadline thing i just got unlucky with. I was supposed to be out of town for the weekend but had to come back early because my step father's mother had a stroke. I had just gotten home when I posted. I used 3.51 because i felt the number was higher. If it makes any difference i would have gone higher but not over 5.2.

Amazing how everyone voted on Richmond to win the AL East.

Baltimore will be return to its winning ways in 2008, and hopefulyl we'll win the whole enchilada.

Trash talking already... boy, if you ever come to chat, I'll bet you and DV have some fun conversations.

    :D

(In all seriousness, though, computer teams usually don't win titles, and Baltimore was one when we did the predictions.)

Haha... I was thinking the same thing. ;)

Are you going to be in the chat for FA, kidrock? I was just looking over your team, and you have a ton of cash...

    For future contests...
I would suggest for future contests that the rookie that gets created not necessarily be a super rookie. That way the creator would have a chance to draft him and not have him held hostage like mine will be or moreso not even tradeable because he is too good of a prospect.

I agree with you, Castor. I would say some things here, but I'm too upset, so I will just bite my tongue.

All I have to say is that it is a little hard to improve when one team signs 9 or more players in free agency or you have a win-win situation for 2 teams & it goes in smoke because of a mysterious "tie-breaker" decided by the computer.

well i think castor is right, if the purpose of this is fun and winning the prediction shouldnt a)the player immediately be placed in that teams minor league system-not available to draft
    b)lesser player
c)make the prize a revenue bump or an allotted amount of cash
