If Ryno hadn't been moved, I would have thought maybe he goes to Suns for Ariza and filler at the deadline. But now I am not seeing Ariza back unless he signs back next offseason for vet min.

However for those saying "too old" and "can't play", I can only laugh. Trevor has NEVER been that 3rd star or someone that is gonna light it up for us. Has he lost a step or 3? Likely. But at his age you have to think that his basketball IQ offsets some of those losses, and now that Melo is here, his offensive responsibilities are less.

Would I take Ariza back to solidify our defense? HELL F***in YES.

Barring Ariza throwing a tantrum (which he won't do), he's not getting bought out. If you're Phoenix, you don't spend that much money on a guy for a one-year deal if you're just going to buy him out mid-season. That makes no sense. You bring in and overpay for a veteran like Ariza to help coach your young guys, and you hope that his maturity will rub off on them over time. I seriously doubt that Phoenix's front office has delusions of the playoffs this season, so the team's record in February shouldn't impact Ariza at all.
