1. Denver Nuggets Jason Williams 2. Chicago Bulls Yao Ming 3. Golden State DaJuan Wagner 4. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES - Caron Butler 5. Houston Rockets Qyntel Woods
1. Golden State Warriors - Yao Ming 2. Chicago Bulls - Jason Williams 3. New York Knicks - DaJuan Wagner 6. Houston Rockets - Caron Butler
OK back to the contest. For the participants, you have one more day to change your entry. We had two late participants which pushes the total no. of participants to 12. There were few happenings since we posted our entries such as Mike Dunleavy may be cracking the top 3, Ming not the first choice or Woods dropping past the Rockets. I will post the initial results after the Lottery draft on Sunday and then the final results after the Actual NBA Draft.
God you people are killing me. Let me rephrase this!!! If 3 of the four following teams get the lotto picks. The Rockets can pick no worse than 5th!!! G.S. Chi. Mem. Den. SO it is impossible for you to say the top 3 picks go to G.S., Den. and Chi. then say the Rockets will pick 6th!!! Having said that and knowing the deadline for the contest has passed I am still going to put my predictions here. 1) Chi-- Ming 2) Hou-- Jay Williams 3) G.S.- Wilcox
As a rule, your pick should be based on the initial team pick and regardless and before any trades take place.

A bit obvious, but if the lotto were rigged, would Stern give it to Memphis? New guy in charge (ala MJ and Thorn) and maybe Stern would use this to say "if it were rigged, why would I give it to one of the smallest markets in the league?" Just conjecture.
I know the deadline´s passed, but I´ll just make my predictions too. 1. Bulls - Williams 2. GS - Ming 3. ROCKETS - Dunlevy
It is interesting that most of the participants were a little conservative picking the top 3 teams. Last 12 years the following teams won: 2001 Original order 1st pick 3 2nd pick 8 3rd pick 5 2000 Original order 1st pick 5 2nd pick 4 3rd pick 1 1999 Original order 1st pick 3 2nd pick 1 3rd pick 13 1998 Original order 1st pick 3 2nd pick 5 3rd pick 1 1997 Original order 1st pick 3 2nd pick 5 3rd pick 2 1996 Original order 1st pick 2 2nd pick 3 3rd pick 1 1995 Original order 1st pick 5 2nd pick 1 3rd pick 4 1994 Original order 1st pick 4 2nd pick 1 3rd pick 2 1993 Original order 1st pick 11 2nd pick 5 3rd pick 7 1992 Original order 1st pick 2 2nd pick 8 3rd pick 1 1991 Original order 1st pick 5 2nd pick 4 3rd pick 3 1990 Original order 1st pick 1 2nd pick 10 3rd pick 8
1993 Draft Lottery was wild. If the same thing happen this year then it will look like this: 2002 Original Order 1st Pick: Washington 11 2nd Pick: Houston 5 3rd Pick: New York 7
