Predict the year the rockets win their next championship

Impossible to predict the year, but you can look at the team yearly to give a percentage chance to win it all. Without a superstar or multiple all-stars your chances of winning a title are probably 1%.

If you have multiple all-star caliber players but no true superstar playing at an MVP level over multiple years then you'd have to look at the years where a team like the Billups Pistons type teams won it all. Thats what... 5 to 8% of all championships? So let's say Sengun continues developing and becomes an all-star, and we make a trade to acquire another all star wing in the next 3 seasons, even then our chances of winning it all in the next 3 to 5 seasons is... yeah... probably 5 to 8%.

Really the only chance of winning a title is if we get lucky in the draft and draft the next great superstar then we have a window 3 to 5 years out, or we pull off a trade that is even more fortunately slanted our way than even the Harden trade.

So guys, lets be frank here. The Rockets are not winning a championship any time soon. So just enjoy decent basketball for decent basketball's sake. Our best real chance is if someone already on our roster becomes not just an all-star caliber player, but a true bonified superstar which is an even greater mountain to climb, and unfair expectations for the young guys on our roster.
