Rumor had been: Gay for Stuckey, per Bird; Gay for Ellis, per Vlade. The divide, or so it was rumored.

I don't see a reason to trade for Koufos when we just signed Nene honestly...Koufos can stay healty but that's it, i'm not eating his contract...as for Gay, i don't know, but maybe the fact that nobody has traded for him in a year should tell us something...he's a capable scorer, but pretty inefficient, takes too many bad shots, not reliable with the 3 ball, and he's going to get paid in 12 months...i'd prefer to keep Trevor at 7x2 at this point.
LOL When did "Let's trade for Rudy Gay!" become a thing? ______________________ [rQUOTEr]Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay has emerged as one of the most established NBA veterans currently available via trade, according to league sources. Sources told ESPN that the Kings are actively seeking to move Gay as well as big man Kosta Koufos and guard Ben McLemore. The Chicago Bulls, sources said, are among the teams that have engaged with the Kings in exploratory discussions on Gay before the Bulls' big moves this week to sign Chicago native Dwyane Wade away from the Miami Heat as well as former All-Star guard Rajon Rondo. Gay has spent the bulk of the past two seasons in Sacramento after the Kings acquired him in a deal with Toronto in December 2014. The 29-year-old, who won a gold medal with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup in Spain in the summer of 2014, averaged 17.2 points and 6.5 rebounds in 70 games for the Kings last season. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/16901922/sacramento-kings-make-rudy-gay-available-via-trade[/rQUOTEr]
This offseason's acquisitions have all been guys that the Rockets have chased in the past but could not land: Gordon, Anderson and Nene. A possible trade target that fits this description that could be available (assuming he is healthy) is Chris Bosh. He is the last vestige of the championship teams and there's the report of Miami preferring that he retires rather than play out his contract. So, it's worth keeping an eye on. Goran Dragic, too, might be available given his age.
Hopefully not. Miami/Riley can try & wait until February? when insurance kicks in or they(not us) can ride out those final three years & $75,868,170. No thanks!
Love the way you think! My thoughts exactly, I thought we should've went after Grant last year. I thought he fit well with Harden...Morey's draft analysis leaves a lot to be desired.
Gay would fit perfectly on this team next to Harden, Anderson and Gordon Buuut it's up to Morey. He would give us another legitimate scorer. I think if we can get him, we will have enough shooters to stay with the Warriors...YES I SAID IT!
Sooooooooooo untrue. Look at the teams he's played on a young Memphis team at the time, a selfish Toronto team at the time and well Sacramento. I think if we can pair him with Harden and Anderson it can put the Rockets in the top 3 or 4 in the West. He averaged 17/6/3 last year. Not bad for a perpetual tease
I can see Lou Will bring a target. If I was Gm it would be Vucevic Gay Knight/Bledsoe. I'd stay away from Rubio. Harden is this team's point guard
You don't need Brew to get Gay, either you are or you aren't. Unless you mean you're using him as bait?
