I'm still comfortable with my prediction. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7143113&postcount=17
I don't see any scenario, where Obama wins IN and loses FL, NC, and WI. The Indiana polls show him losing by double digits.
The OP's map has a very, very real chance of happening. I'd take his over everybody else's I've seen on here.
I think mine will still be pretty close. I could see Virginia and maybe Colorado going to Romney but other than that, I think it'll be right on.
Probably because "believe everything I say even though I can't back it up at all!" is not a terribly convincing logic chain.
http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/19905504/michigan-poll-obama-and-romney-in-dead-heat Michigan is now a toss-up. Yep, Obama won those last 2 debates.
It has absolutely no chance of happening. Romeny's losing Oregon by 9 points, Pennsylvania by 5, Michigan by 7, Wisconsin by 4, Nevada by 2.5, Ohio by 3, and New Jersey by 14. Not to mention that he's losing in most polls in Iowa, Colorado, and Virginia though it's very tight. Oregon, Pennsylvania, New Jersey (really? New Jersey?), and Michigan are off the board. They're locked up already. You and Commodore must've been smoking the same batch of crack if you think there's a chance that plays out.
It's funny that they point to polls (like Michigan above) to show what they want, but ignore all the polls otherwise.
You can look at that polling firms history and they've consistently been an outlier. You can look back to last month when they gave Obama a 1.8% edge while every other polling firm was giving Obama +9, +10, +14. Even Rassmussen was giving Obama +12. In August, when every other poll was showing Obama up by 5 or 6, they had Romney up 4.
Sorry. Didn't see Oregon. You're right on that. That's a blue state. But Michigan....I'm afraid we might see a surprise in Michigan.
Considering he bailed out the state, he's not going to lose. Willing to place a tip jar wager on this? $20
Based on current polls, and pretty accurate IMO. Going to be a very close race, but I still think it's Obama's to lose.
Different states, same result 281-257 Obama: http://www.270towin.com/2012_election_predictions.php?mapid=Tbu
