After seeing this team play 3 games & watching a few other NBA teams as well. Conclusion: 1) Detroit(10/31) - Win 2) Atlanta (11/02) - Win 3) Portland (11/03) -los 4) Denver (11/07) - Loss - they have been playing alright not as well as I would have expected 5) Memphis (11/09) - Win - could be a loss but I like to think we push this one out 6) Detroit (11/10) - Win - we beat them before we can do it again 7) Miami (11/12) - Loss - i hope though that Lin/Harden play better than they did last year 8) New Orleans (11/14) - Win -davis out with a concussion hopefully we push this one out 9) Portland (11/16) - Win - beat them this time learn from our mistakes 10) L.A. Lakers - Loss- could actually be a win though I doubt it. No nash for another 4 weeks they blew out the pistons but it is the pistons. kobe/howard/pau will put up numbers though so they will likely beat us So that is a 6-4 record. Not bad for such a young team.

Lakers - Win (steal this one before they have chemistry) 9-1
1) Detroit(10/31) - Win 2) Atlanta (11/02) - Win 3) Portland (11/03) - Loss 4) Denver (11/07) - Loss 5) Memphis (11/09) - Loss 6) Detroit (11/10) - Win 7) Miami (11/12) - Loss 8) New Orleans (11/14) - Win 9) Portland (11/16) - Win 10) L.A. Lakers - Loss Denver gets their first win against us. Memphis plays lock down D against us, and TOs become a problem for us. We beat struggling Detroit. Miami whoops us and shows us why they are defending champs. We recover against NO and Portland. Lakers get complacent, Asik gets in on the act and posterizes D12, but Lakers still manage to pull out an ugly win. Record for 1st 10 games 5-5, which is 0.500 record. Not bad.
I hope that Lin can step up in the next game to help us win. He kept improving in the last few games. Go rockets!

The opponents will double/triple team harden from now on. Lin needs to step up and be more aggressive. Glad to see Lin's speed is back. Now it is time to get jump abbot back in the next few weeks
1) Detroit(10/31) - W 2) Atlanta (11/02) - W 3) Portland (11/03) - L ------------------------ 4) Denver (11/07) - W 5) Memphis (11/09) - W 6) Detroit (11/10) - W 7) Miami (11/12) - L 8) New Orleans (11/14) - L 9) Portland (11/16) - W 10) L.A. Lakers - W
Denver will be tough. Their record doesn't show the talent they have. After a bad start, I expect the Nuggets to be fired up against us. Iggy should be guarding Harden, the beard will have his work cut out for him as Iggy is a better defender than Mathews. Lawson is no slouch on the defensive end either and could force many Lin TO's possibly. I actually think Denver is a bad match up for us due to their strong perimeter D. They may be bad against other teams, but they have shooters than can avoid Asik, and they don't have much focus on the offensive end eith their bigs, so once again avoiding Asik's smashing D. That being said, we are a talented team and i think it will be a close nail biter. Hopegully Harden has learned from his mistake against POR. Give the ball to Lin! I've got both Lawson and Faried in my fantasy team, so a part of me wants to see them do well as they've been playing like dog's breakfast in their 1st 3 games but I don't want it to be happening against our beloved Rockers =(
After the 1st 3 games, Lin should take some pressure from Haden. Lin played Better and better. Go rockets. Beat Denver
Before the Beard, I would have predicted: 1) @Detroit(10/31) - L 2) @Atlanta (11/02) - L 3) Portland (11/03) - W 4) Denver (11/07) - W 5) @Memphis (11/09) - L 6) Detroit (11/10) - W 7) Miami (11/12) - L 8) New Orleans (11/14) - W 9) @Portland (11/16) - L 10) @L.A. Lakers (11/18) - L After the Beard, before the first game was played, I would have predicted: 1) @Detroit(10/31) - W 2) @Atlanta (11/02) - L 3) Portland (11/03) - W 4) Denver (11/07) - W 5) @Memphis (11/09) - W 6) Detroit (11/10) - W 7) Miami (11/12) - L 8) New Orleans (11/14) - W 9) @Portland (11/16) - L 10) @L.A. Lakers (11/18) - W (The Fakers looked awful) Now, after the first three games were played, I predict: 4) Denver (11/07) - W 5) @Memphis (11/09) - L 6) Detroit (11/10) - W 7) Miami (11/12) - L 8) New Orleans (11/14) - W 9) @Portland (11/16) - L 10) @L.A. Lakers (11/18) - L My downward adjustment has more to do with how McHale has played the bench and overused Harden than what otherwise transpired these first three games. McHale seems to lack trust in anyone who hasn't played real minutes, and I think that could be his downfall.
