There will be some big cuts coming up, no doubt. Give your predictions for what the Rockets 15 man roster will be.

    PG- Francis, James, Brooks
    SG- McGrady, Head, Newley
    SF- Battier, Wells, Harris
    PF- Scola, Hayes, Landry
    C- Ming, Mutombo, Butler

Odd men out: Alston, Novak, Lucas III, Reed, Snyder

Newley is the biggest reach of my prediction, followed by Harris. For some reason I got a feeling about these 2 guys. I havent heard anything new about Newley, but he is a tall shooting guard with a pure shot, and Adleman drafted him, which leads me to believe he could make the roster. I’ve heard Harris has impressed the staff, and I think he has a lot more upside than Snyder. Besides, there are always a few guys on the 15 roster who must get almost no playing time. I would have liked to also keep Novak and Snyder, and maybe even Alston, but Im going with these guys.

I think you replace Newley with Snyder. No doubt. Alston makes the team, Landry and Harris don't. Novak is a toss-up.

starting 5 is up in the air

    tmac
    yao
    battier
    scola

for me are pretty much locks
who is going to start point?

    brooks? francis? james?

my quesion is more like, when yao and tmac are sitting, who is playing? i definitely DO NOT want to see steve, James(this "MJ" thing is not really becoming of him), bonzi together on the court at one time. A whole lot of iso, and a whole lot of standing around.

In my opinion, Steve and James should never be on the court at the same time, unless both of them decide to set the house on fire. two small guys in on a daily basis at the same time probably will not work

    Yao Ming/Deke Mutombo/Jackie Butler
    Luis Scola/Chuck Hayes/Carl Landry
    Shane Battier/Bonzi Wells/________
    Tracy McGrady/Luther Head/Kirk Snyder
    Steve Francis/Mike James/Aaron Brooks

    Gone for Sure: JLIII, Alston
The last spot will be between Harris and Novak. If Novak doesnt prove he can make shots before the season starts, Harris should stay. If Novak can consistantly hit the 3, he will stay.

I don't think there's any way to know that yet, since even the coaches have no clue.

Novak is potentially the BEST shooter in the NBA.

Snyder's cutting ability and athleticism will win over Reed, and...Newley.

And like it or not, Alston WILL BE ON THE TEAM (unless he's traded, but he won't be cut)

    Just look at my sig...
